BABY MOPP EXHIBITION
MONTH OF PEOPLES PHOTOGRAPHY
THE WORKSPACE PROJECTS is an autonomous non profit organisation , which provide curriculum extension and enrichment opportunities for youth at risk. Having taken the esponsibility to design, implement and showcase " BABY MOPP EXHIBITION"
in partnership with :
MOPP, HERITAGE FOUNDATION FUND,IZIKO MUSEUM, HEALTHY LIVINGS,
BIRDS AND BEES, FOUR CORNERS, SATURDAY VARSITY, PEOPLES
PHOTOGRAPHERS, AFRICA UNITE & CAPE FILM COMMISSION.
Thanks to HERITAGE FOUNDATION FUND, the MOPP catalogue, was designed and
produced to act as a VISUAL ART tool to educate and enlighten our youth about
the world of visual art and the media, more so the impact visual art has on their daily lives.
MOPP- VISUAL LITERACY ROADSHOW was presented to schools and centers of learning
across the cape flats by " The Workspace Projects"
This roadshow saw the need for a "BABY MOPP- EXHIBITION" A developmental component for youth interested in this industry, those youth wanting to experience and grow within the visual art world. Special focus on skills development , using the ART OF MOSAIC and pinhole photography to exhibit our participants interpretation of the theme " ME AS I AM"
We will be hosting a month long exhibition at the
NATIONAL ART GALLERY ANNEX
